Professional Development: On-Site Materials

Terms of Use

1. Participating Members must agree to access in Key Curriculum Press’ Online Professional Development Materials at will and to release Key Curriculum Press (Key) from liability for instructional, technical, operational, and ethical problems that arise in the course of using Online Professional Development Materials.

2. Key does not guarantee access from all computers or with all browsers and software. Online Professional Development Materials asset performance varies with the speed of individual computers and the speed of the Web connectivity. Key makes no warranties as to Online Professional Development Materials asset performance or its compatibility with the computer hardware, networking software, or connectivity software of a school or its individual teachers. Participating Individuals agree to accept the technology and all files "as is."

3. Participating Members agree:

  • not to post their enrollment key or their Key Online username and password information on the Web or publicly in any other way (such as in classrooms or in a school bulletin available outside the school),
  • not to distribute their enrollment key or any username and password information to others on or off the school site,
  • not to post or distribute any files or content used within the Online Professional Development Materials to others on or off the school site, and
  • to report repeated misuse of Online Professional Development Materials content and access privileges to Key.

4. Participating Members agree not to post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or that otherwise violates any law.

5. System Requirements: Internet connection and a modern web browser with Javascript turned on and Adobe Flash Player Plug-in. The following browsers are supported with the use of Key Online:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer: Versions 6.x and higher
  • Mozilla Firefox: Version 1.0 and higher
  • Netscape Browser: Versions 7.x and higher
  • Opera: Versions 8.x and higher
  • Safari: Version 1.3 and higher

Key Online does not support IE 5.x on Macintosh or PC.

6. Cancellation of Access: Failure of the Participating Individual to substantially comply with the Terms of Use, as determined solely by Key, may result in revocation of Online Professional Development Materials.
