Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources

Subscription Terms of Use

1. Participating Members must agree to register for and use only the Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources for textbooks their school has adopted. Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources is not to be used as a substitute for purchasing Key textbooks or teaching materials.

2. Participating Members will receive at most three email bulletins per semester about the Key Online services, related professional development opportunities, and important update information regarding Key Online.

3. Key does not guarantee access from all computers or with all browsers. Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources' performance varies with the speed of individual computers and the speed of the Web connectivity. Key makes no warranties as to Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources' performance or its compatibility with the computer hardware, networking software, or connectivity software of a school or its individual teachers. Participating Schools agree to accept the technology "as is."

4. Participating Members agree:

• not to post their Key Online username and password information on the Web or publicly in any other way (such as in classrooms or in a school bulletin available outside the school),
• not to distribute any username and password information to others on or off the school site, and
• to report repeated misuse of Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources access privileges to Key.

5. If these Terms of Use violate any school policies, the Participating Member agrees not to register for Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources.

6. Cancellation of Access: Failure of the Participating Member to substantially comply with the Terms of Use, as determined solely by Key, may result in revocation of Online Textbooks and Teacher Resources.

Preview Terms of Use

1. Participating Members must agree to release Key Curriculum Press (Key) from liability for technical, operational, and ethical problems that arise in the course of using Online Textbook and Teacher Resources previews.

2. Online Textbook and Teacher Resources previews are for the express purpose of evaluating textbooks for classroom adoption, or for purchase by an educational institution, computer lab, or teacher. They may not be used on an ongoing basis in place of purchasing the textbook. Participating Members may not promote them to others as a substitute for purchasing textbooks.

3. Participating Members will receive at most three email bulletins per semester about the Key Online services, related professional development opportunities, and important update information regarding Key Online.

4. Term of Participation: Participation in Online Textbook and Teacher Resources previews is on a 60-day basis only.
